When I am working my fanny off on these cards, I always start to wonder if they are coming out as perfectly as I want them to. Well, yesterday two of my packages arrived with the customers and I got some amazing feedback! Thank you, ladies!

I admit it, I ADORE thank you cards.
I love sending them, receiving them, and more than that MAKING them!
While I make thank you cards, I think about who is going to send it, who will get it, and what needs the thanking. I love imagining what they could be used for!
My first Christmas Cards!!
I enjoy a challenge. It is who I am! But making a lot of cards that are just the same seems super easy, but I loose a little designing in the process and feel like a machine instead of a crafter!
So with that said, I usually shy away from mass orders. However, I gave in to one, and I have to say I was so pleased with the outcome!!!
The pic below is the cards mid-stage ... they had some more adorning done, but I did not want to ruin the element of surprise for the person that ordered them =)

A birthday is not a birthday with out a card! Everyone appreciates birthday cards ... I even line them up on the mantel and enjoy them for a few days =)

A lot of my adorable friends from hopepark have joined the Note Card team, a ministry after my own heart! A moment to think ...
I recently had the honor of making a set of thank you cards for the women on the leadership team at my church. My wonderful friend, Andrea, though of me when she needed cards ... and I was the one rewarded by the process of making these! I hade a moment of time to think about each of the women that contribute, think about what we have accomplished this semester, and be thankful!
So Andrea, thank you for the project!!
I hope you love them as much as I loved making them!
Pieces of Me.
Each card that I make for Chickie Crafts ends up being a piece of me. A piece of my time, a piece of my design, but more than that ... a piece of my heart. I think about each person that is giving this card, hoping that they find the words they want to enscribe inside. I think about the person receivng it, will they notice that the giver wanted it specialized just for them?
I think about each one, even when I am making many at a time, and their personalities. The way the paper cuts, lays, takes the ink of the stamp ... the way the corners line up, the way the colors flow ... they are each a story of their own. Are they perfect? No. Just as in life, it is the imperfections that make them beautiful.

My wonderful friend, Tiffany Galyon, has a fantastic animal rescue non-profit in the middle Tennessee area. She rescued our Jake, and many many others.

A busy weekend!
I completed the below mentioned 10 sympathy cards and got them out on Sunday ... as well we my first Etsy order! I am looking forward to hearing back from these lovely customers to see what they thought.
Add to that my 24 card order due Sat. and my 12 card order coming up, and I need to focus!!

Here are two new creations this afternoon.
The top set are acid free hand stamped and then edged in matching ink ...

I was asked to make a large set of cards from a special customer, and 2 of which she requested to be sympathy cards. Woah. That was a toughie!
So, after quite a few tries this afternoon, I think I got it.
