Each card that I make for Chickie Crafts ends up being a piece of me. A piece of my time, a piece of my design, but more than that ... a piece of my heart. I think about each person that is giving this card, hoping that they find the words they want to enscribe inside. I think about the person receivng it, will they notice that the giver wanted it specialized just for them?
I think about each one, even when I am making many at a time, and their personalities. The way the paper cuts, lays, takes the ink of the stamp ... the way the corners line up, the way the colors flow ... they are each a story of their own. Are they perfect? No. Just as in life, it is the imperfections that make them beautiful.
